Black Ash Basket Kits

Eric makes many of his baskets that he teaches available in kit form that can be made at home. He personally makes all the materials in your kit and are “made-to-order” so lead times may be lengthy. We recommend that you email Eric with your kit request and put off paying for it until completion of your materials.

Purchasing a Kit and Mold

  • You have the option of purchasing a KIT only or KIT & MOLD.
  • When checking out, you can pay by Credit Card (PayPal) or by Check. Simply make your selection in the 'cart' then submit.
  • To help defer costs of the larger, more expensive baskets, some Molds can be "rented" and will be defined in the listing

The new Legacy Collection

The latest Legacy Series has been decades in the making. feature stark contrasting handles made from Black Ash layered between two pieces of Cherry. Weavers and Uprights made with hand-pounded black ash and Cherry for the base and rims.

Cottage Round Swings

Because Eric was creating his own style, he needed to stay strict with his varying shapes and handles so he could solidify his own “Cottage” look. Therefore, he intentionally avoided creating round baskets which are traditionally Nantucket. 

However, having developed many baskets with varying shapes and handle styles over two decades, thereby solidifying his own “Cottage Style,” it was time to make some round baskets and his own nesting set.

Mountain & Tub Series
