The Cottage Style
Eric began designing, what would become the first “Cottage” basket, back in 1999 after spending years making traditional Shaker and Nantucket style reproductions. His new style is a unique marriage of contemporary woodworking techniques and materials mixed with classic textures and structure. His first “cottage” basket was introduced at a convention in 2001. Every basket since then utilizes this new style and has now become known as the Cottage Style of Basketry.

Legacy
Eric first designed and made this modern handle style of basketry twenty years ago. After creating numerous collections born from his “Classic” design, he thought it was fitting to round out the Cottage Style by revisiting his most ambitious basket designs, the Legacy Collection.
